The Final Product

Where did we go wrong?! This is the only design choice that I have to question. Waku Waku 7, unlike most videogames, actually chose the best character designs and put them in the game. While that's the idea behind most videogames, Waku Waku 7 I can think of where I don't go "Why didn't they use THAT design!". Well, they did a pretty good job in Kikaioh/Tech Romancer. Anyway, Rai is the only character that I would have REALLY preffered they use his other designs rather than this one. Oh well, this one bad apple certainly didn't ruin the rest of the game.

Scrapped Designs

Wow! Rai looks pretty cool here! I like these designs! Especially the one on the right. I really like the right one's gloves.

Not my top choice, but not bad.

The one on the left is what we would have gotten had this game beed Galaxy Fight 2 rather than Waku Waku 7. Confused? I'm gonna add a section devoted to that later. Anyway, I think THIS Rai is actually the child of Rolf and Juri.

Another techno design. This is DEFINITELY related to Rolf.

Waaay to close to what we already got. This image actually remins me of Tezla from Savage Reign.

Army Rai! Pretty cool actually!

It's Rai Tang! Oh, you KNOW this image reminds you of Wang Tang too. I like how his gloves look here too. This whole Techno Glove thing seems to have been what Rai was based around…until the final design.

AUGH! The only way Rai could have looked WORSE! Actually, this looks a lot like the Rai we got, just drawn realistically. Now I REALLY can't blame Arina for making fun of him!

I saved the best for last! THIS DESIGN IS TOO COOL! If they EVER made a sequel, THIS shoul be DARK RAI! Yeah! I actually REALLY LIKE this design! I wish this was what they would have chosen, then I'd USE Rai! Oh well, you win some you lose some.
